This certificate is awarded to select volunteers who successfully completed over 12 hours of Roleplay Facilitation Training. This certificate showcases extensive knowledge in the appropriate forms of feedback, managing group dynamics, and how to foster a safe learning environment for volunteers. It also highlights a volunteers keen interest in supporting the ongoing development of volunteers via monthly ongoing and training roleplays. Completing this extensive training program also reflects a volunteers ability to differentiate from appropriate and adequate supportive listening skills, from those that need further improvement. Roleplay Facilitators are crucial to the support the Peer Support Centre provides to students on campus.
Criteria
Recipients of this certificate successfully completed all 12 hours of Roleplay Facilitator Training, met the extensive criteria set for RPF skills, and signed a year-long RPF contract with the PSC.
Recipients must dedicate at least one year to their Roleplay Facilitator duties by signing a one-year contract with the PSC.
