About the Skilled Trades in Advanced Manufacturing Program: The Skilled Trades in Advanced Manufacturing Program is an initiative designed to increase the awareness of skilled trades in manufacturing and introduce technical skills required to support advanced manufacturing. This program acts to build the confidence of the learner to participate in innovation discussions and increase their abilities to support manufacturing with the transition to advanced manufacturing.
Work Experience component: Learner has actively participated in work experience as defined by the manufacturing employer. A Learner's success in the work experience components is confirmed and approved by their employer.
Online learning component: The Learner has completed a series of self-paced e-learning modules developed to increase awareness of the skills needed to be successful in the manufacturing sector and to increase knowledge of skills required to support and maintain advanced manufacturing in the workplace.
