Shopify Basics

The holder of this badge has met or exceeded the following requirements:

Open a trial Shopify store.

Add products as specified by instructor:

• For each product, include images and detailed product information that will appeal to the target customer.
• For one of the products, create variants for options such as size or colour.
• Create at least one collection.

Publish one of Shopify's free themes on the trial store.

Customize theme and edit the home page:

• Modify/create site header.
• Select appealing background colours and text colours that are easy to read.
• Add site images and content that would appeal to the target customer.
• Create either a side menu or a drop-down menu for site navigation.
• Create a footer menu.

Create at least 3 additional online store pages, for example, FAQ or About Us.
